| A: | Our preference is that you spend the entire summer
with us for the purpose of getting to know you and your work and for you to get to know
us and our work. We do consider split summers on a case-by-case basis. |

| A: | Our practice is always growing and we have room to give full-time positions to all of our summer law clerks. Our summer law clerks do not compete with each other for full-time positions. |

| A: | Summer law clerks are often assigned pro bono matters to work on while they are here. Also, community service projects are sometimes scheduled as part of the social event calendar. For example, the Cincinnati office summer clerks participate in the Cincinnati Bar Run for Kids every June and serve lunch at a soup kitchen for the homeless every August. In addition, both the Cleveland and Cincinnati offices have adopted an inner-city public elementary school where our lawyers regularly provide tutoring, mentoring and volunteer assistance. There are a variety of opportunities to participate in our pro bono program. |
